Things you feel like doing after being hit in the liver :
-Vomitting
-Suffocating
-Shitting yourself
-Passing out
-Crying for your mummy
-Stop taking part in any kind of violent sport.......

i got mine in the letter telling when my oath date and intake date was, i think my careers office is a bit odd because i never get important docs unless i ask and they never send on important information to other parts of the army when i need them to making everything alot more stressful than it needs to be, its rather frustrating! :evil: although my recruiter is a sound bloke!

SandyTheGuvnor is a Para PTI at Catterick, and presuming by his post, the PTI of 730 Bruneval Platoon! :D

so as your the guy in the know just a quick question if ya dont mind, is there anything you say which is not on list that we need, been told need to bring bungees and twisters even tho they a on the list

I had to pop in and go over the contract which had my number on it, but was in rush as i'm still at work at the moment and forgot to ask about it. then i remembered someone saying it got posted anyway. But no worries as i will phone up today anyway

You do get issued bungees here, i cant see anything wrong with bringing a few extra. I would def bring a few sets of twisters as you are guaranteed too lose them.

When the rest of the platoon staff get back off leave next week i will ask them your question and see what they say.

Ref ironing boards - if you dont mind being a skip rat theres plenty so you would only need a cover for it.

One other thing that you MUST bring here is a sense of humour without one you will struggle.

Yeah all sorted now gave them and call and going to pop into tomorrow to get it
