i got mine in the letter telling when my oath date and intake date was, i think my careers office is a bit odd because i never get important docs unless i ask and they never send on important information to other parts of the army when i need them to making everything alot more stressful than it needs to be, its rather frustrating!jxnxg wrote:just a thought when n how did you get your number if you have not got your kit list and joining stuff from catterick as my number was on there and its 8 digits
I had to pop in and go over the contract which had my number on it, but was in rush as i'm still at work at the moment and forgot to ask about it. then i remembered someone saying it got posted anyway. But no worries as i will phone up today anywayjxnxg wrote:just a thought when n how did you get your number if you have not got your kit list and joining stuff from catterick as my number was on there and its 8 digits

You do get issued bungees here, i cant see anything wrong with bringing a few extra. I would def bring a few sets of twisters as you are guaranteed too lose them.jxnxg wrote:so as your the guy in the know just a quick question if ya dont mind, is there anything you say which is not on list that we need, been told need to bring bungees and twisters even tho they a on the listSandyTheGuvnor wrote:Now that sounds very famaliar730 bruneval platoon
When the rest of the platoon staff get back off leave next week i will ask them your question and see what they say.
Ref ironing boards - if you dont mind being a skip rat theres plenty so you would only need a cover for it.
One other thing that you MUST bring here is a sense of humour without one you will struggle.
Things you feel like doing after being hit in the liver :
-Vomitting
-Suffocating
-Shitting yourself
-Passing out
-Crying for your mummy
-Stop taking part in any kind of violent sport.......
