i have passed selection and starting basic training august 3rd at pirbright, i would like if somebody could help me about what things i should take with me

Did you get the civilian to soldier book, If so then there is a kit list in there near the back it tells you everything you will need to know.

There are more than 2 clubs on Merseyside lol

ah yeah, forgot about Everton reserves :D

to be fair though one of the teams is more like a foreign legion these days!!

although i'm from the south i've grown up supporting Everton and have been to Goodison a few times, fantastic stadium, people and club.

Dont take much, most of it gets Locked away until week 6 (on wich you get your long weekend). Take the basics, soap,toothbrush etc etc. Dont take any clothes because you not aloud to wear them. Take Trainers as you get your tracksuits (wich you have to pay £30 for in some cases) before you get issued your kit.
