Long Wait for Medical Report?

Dawber you may as well just run the forms down to your AFCO, it would probaly be quicker.

Trev1 I usually saw whatever GP as avaliable whenever I went but the GP I got to fill out my forms was my registered Dr. You should know who this is.

I let my GP send it off last time but this time the chap in the AFCO said to bring it straight back to him because Drs take too long with them, so thats what I'll do.
I see the same Dr everytime I go in but he told me it probably would'nt be him that did it as the GP's have to share the "workload". I don't think it matters which Dr fills it out as they'll have to sit down and look through your records anyway.

Can I just ask when you guys go to the doctors etc do you always see the same doctor? becuase every time I go I always near enough see a diffrent doctor, so which doctor would have to fill my medical forms in?

You have to get it filled in by the GP you are registered with, if you don't know, just ask at reception.

The organisation skills of the recruiting side of the army is seriously shit!
I re-applied back in early december, and have not been contacted once, all the contact has been of my own effort, calling them or visiting the acio.
I'm now being told the smo at pirbright has contacted my gp for further information, and is looking at the details. It's been a couple of weeks so i asked my gp what they were asking about, they never even fcuking spoke to her, or wrote a letter or anything. FFS!!!!! My recruiting Sgt is sound though and looking in to it for me, but i just wanted to vent my anger without physically hurting someone!!!!! Seriously pissed of at the moment, plus a friend has been deffered for something so fcukin pathetic, DO THEY EVEN WANT ANY MORE PEOPLE!!!

Hmm bet i wouldnt have this problem joining the Legion........

The recesion has caused ppl to resort to joining the military to avoid all the bull shit going on, the army are hitting there recruitment targets. so they probably aint bothering to chase people around.

Nether is it about 'bothering' to! You dont 'bother' to shave, or you dont 'bother' to wash the car, if someone cant be bothered to let someone know whats happening with the rest of their career that's not 'not being bothered' it's called being a c@#t. And thats how i would describe certain individuals, who are somewhere along the mysterious line of people who claim to know nothing

I know it's a total ball ache mucker, but I'm sure they are not doing it to p*** you off. They must have a fair few applications and paperwork to sort out. At least you calling in and phoning them shows your keen and if they can get you away quicker, they will!

Yeah just wanted a moan, plus i was pissed when i wrote that first post.
