The only thing I have been told by my recruiting office is that it's not like a selection, once you have passed ADSC you will still go into training, it's just to take a look at what training will be like (i.e trashings)

Well the recruiting office have sort of been misguiding you. Yes you will still start training but if you are not up to the standards it will be with another regiment.

Why do they never just tell you straight?

Is the Pre-Para done right before your actual Para training, so if you pass you start training imedietly?

I assume the Pre-Para is done at Catterick?
And also . . . do Junior Entry also have to pass Pre-Para, not that I care if I go or not but I am curious.
