Hi guys,
does anyone know exactly how long raf reg basic is? Ive herd several times from 22-29 weeks.

I think you technically pass out after the 22, then the rest is what used to be the Field Gunners course, but as there are only field squadrons now it's all incorporated. Are you joining, dannywayoflife?

On a serious note pal, have a look here: http://www.raf.mod.uk/rafregiment/training.cfm
They've got video diaries showing the 22 week course, but the course itinerary document shows the 29 weeks, with what happens at each stage, where you have leave, etc. Also has the kit list and essential preparation which could make interesting reading even if you're not decided on joining just now.
