Medical Forms Finally Cleared...!

Post by Dixie66 »

Now have to decide on jobs and get my times up to scratch before my first interview.

I am looking at 47 Regiment RA, 7 RHA, 1 RHA, 3 RHA and the Household Cavalry amongst a few others.

Luckily my doctor was very quick, I handed the forms in on a Friday but she wasn't in again until the Monday, but then did them that day. It took a bit longer from the Army side of things, obviously they have to check everything and sent a form back regarding my eyes because i ticked yes to wearing contact lenses/glasses. So i had to go to my opticians and get a report and eye test which sorted that out...then i got a letter rejecting my application due to a leg injury i had over a year and a half ago.

My careers Sgt suggested doing an exercise diary and to also got a letter from my work manager outlining the nature of my job (postman) and then send that off.

My Sgt called me yesterday to say they have accepted my application and that's where i'm at.

Dawber did you take your forms down to your AFCO or did your Doctor send them?
