Im due to start at Catterick on the 22nd Feb.

Just wondering, do we get summer leave like the Marines do?
Application sent : On route
Psychometric Test : 13/12/2007 - Passed
Eye Test : 13/12/2007 - Passed
Interview: 09/01/2008 - Passed
Medical: 10/01/2008 - Passed
RMAD - 22/01/2008
PJFT: 19/01/2008 - Passed - 9.32
PRMC: 31/03/2008
RT : Failed

-Vomitting
-Suffocating
-Shitting yourself
-Passing out
-Crying for your mummy
-Stop taking part in any kind of violent sport.......

You're in training, so as far as I'm aware, no. They are Royal Marines, you are not as yet :wink:

you shouldnt even be bothered bout leave! 6 month solid graft mate, pass out then enjoy.
anyway if you get leave just go out round catterick/darlington and pull some bints - dont go home you'll only get homesick lol

Not really good advice he will only end up getting filled in, charged or both. All pubs in Catterick and Richmond are out of bounds too recruits and most wont let them in Darlo.

Times they are a changing. ok roger that. Filled in??? wheres the teamwork all gone ?? Id heard darlington had gone but not lovely richmond oh my word.

Yep your also get all weekends off, 6 weeks leave and finish at four every night. Christmas and all bank holidays. :wink:

Crikey, Four? Sounds suspiciously like hard work to me... I bet you have to get up at some ungodly hour like 8:30am as well?

I guess I could just about manage that though, just as long as the Provo Sgt comes round and wakes us up with a biscuit and a nice cup of cocoa! :D

I could just about manage that though, just as long as the Provo Sgt comes round and wakes us up with a biscuit and a nice cup of cocoa!

If he does not mate, ring that prat up and tell him what you think of the twat. He also has to press your uniform. Take it down to the Guard room and return in an hour, you know like when you get your pictures printed. :lol:

I know what you mean, the Platoon Sergeant and the section commanders are like..........well your brothers. You can kick them up the arse, slap them around the head, call them silly names and generally treat them like the village idiots. :lol: :wink:
