Combi-locks are much better. You dont need to faff about tring to find your key or hoping you didn't lock it in the locker Itself. They take about 3 seconds to get into and if you ever have to hand your keys in (maybe exercise for example) you dont need toworry about waiting to get them back. The only key you need is your room key and if you dont even need that what you gotta lose? I will never get a padlock with a key in, the amount of people i saw having to cut their padlocks because they either left their key at home or locked themselfs out of the locker. And PFC learn whoes whoes before you start getting cocky, you may even see Sandy at depot.

This question has been answered time and time again.

Use it before you ask bone questions.

sandy should respect pfc if he wants respect back, you all are just kiss ass's?

not trying to be rude but you just ganged up on the guy.... give him a break... and many people have asked the same, many others wont ask and will take the wrong thing... this is a forum to help so its not cool when someone ask's a decent question to mock it.

and no he wasn't rude if it was me i would have told him to Shut the f__k up...

We asked for some calm and respect that's all, i made a nob of my self my first time here and it's a hard thing to shake. anyways i'd like to know the padlock to locker ratio, 8 or 4? how many padlocks and how many combi' locks?

Jeez,
Why do I have to constantly intervene?
If you people can not stand a little criticism your not going to get far in the Military.
Listen to Sandy and learn.
He's there,he's got the t-shirt and knows what he's about.

Errmmm...Do I get the pint you owe me for that? :P

It makes no difference at all what size the locks are as longs they are locked. You could have the smallest lock in your room but as long as it is locked nothing is said, on the other hand you might have the biggest locks on the planet but if you forget too snap them shut then the locker monster pays a visit

yep know all about the locker monster from my stay at Helles.'CORRIDOR' shouted, i monged it by leaving key in lock which was unlocked and spotted by Plt Sgt doing a sweep. All this after leaving cap off jerry can while out in the field (which was also spotted by same person). Needless to say i got a right REAMING :-? learnt my lesson but i done some phys after them two....

Jstagg, why dont you just take 8 mate, just to be on the safe side then if you dont need them, give them to people who havnt brought one because you will get one who doesnt take one, or you can take them home.

I'm taking 6, personally I don't see the reason for 8, I've got 3 small ones 1 combi and 1 large one. If I need more I shall purchase more.
