Hi, the first actual fitness test you'll come across is at OASC Cranwell, its a bleep test, 1 minute of press-ups and 1 minute of sit-ups, all are best effort. Phs ed Off is a really competative branch so you should be scoring very high scores to give yourself the best chance of selection.

Before starting IOT you'll take a fam visit at Cranwell, there you'll undergo the MPFT, or the RAF's version anyway. Its a 1.5mile run, 2 minutes of press-ups and 2 minutes of sit-ups. Scores for the 1.5mile run range from 6.5 mins (some training officers are olympic athaletes) to 14 mins.

I haven't started IOT yet, not long tho :o , so i can't give a personal account just yet.
