Fair one guys, nothing wrong with not being in to that drinking stuff but remember its important you get to know the other lads in your troop and alot of that does come from the 'extra' bonding you will do when you do get a bit of free time to go out on the town. You dont have to get battered by any means but dont be too much of a recluse or you will only get to know the rest in the 'training' environment.Jstagg wrote:I'll be right there with you adam lol, i don't like going to pubs and drinking allot to be honest, waste of money, the odd pint here and there is all right but that's about it.
I'd rather sort my gear out organise tomorrows stuff and see what time I've got left and write a letter do some drawing watch TV or chill and go to bed.
Plus you need to get away from camp when you can, your there so much that it will drive you mad if you stay there in your 'free' time aswell. Again, that doesnt mean you have to be out drinking but get away and do something else rather than stay on camp, you need an escape when its on offer.
