I'd rather sort my gear out organise tomorrows stuff and see what time I've got left and write a letter do some drawing watch TV or chill and go to bed.
Fair one guys, nothing wrong with not being in to that drinking stuff but remember its important you get to know the other lads in your troop and alot of that does come from the 'extra' bonding you will do when you do get a bit of free time to go out on the town. You dont have to get battered by any means but dont be too much of a recluse or you will only get to know the rest in the 'training' environment.

Plus you need to get away from camp when you can, your there so much that it will drive you mad if you stay there in your 'free' time aswell. Again, that doesnt mean you have to be out drinking but get away and do something else rather than stay on camp, you need an escape when its on offer.

True dwarfy, i thought on posting something along the same lines.. i'd head out allot but not always to the pub as some guys want to do allot, but it is all about bonding so we'd probably do all sorts i'd Imagen.

Def you really need to get away from the place when u can. Unless your on guard duty of course, but u dont do that till late in the training. patrolling camp with live rounds, you need to be trusted lol.

Yeah, I imagine hunting with blanks wouldn't produce the required results :-?

So you can be trusted not to shoot at your own blokes? Oh good, you're on the right track then

AdamB i heard there is usually about 125 people joining, then you're broken down by REG choice, that's only what my cousin told me, he joined two years ago, could have changed or it might not be accurate.
