Saw Hillary Clinton on Breakfast with Frost this morning. A V. impressive lady. Intelligent and articulate; didn't dodge the awkward questions; came up with balanced responses; seemed to talk sense (at least to me).
Mind you, you could sense a hint of ruthlessness which she'd no doubt use when appropriate. I wonder why she's still with 'Blow-Job Bill'? Love reconciled? Or is she just putting up with him to help her own political ambitions?
If I was a Yank and had a choice of voting for Bush or (Mrs) Clinton, she'd get my vote.

She is a very intelligent and articulate lady, who sees American politics for what they are. Unfortunately I don't think that the American public are ready yet for a black or female president. She will not run in the next presidential race, but has not written off that option sometime in the future.
I think that she has forgiven Billy Boy, she is not staying with him for his money as he is having to do the lecture circuit to pay his legal bills.
One has to be close to American politics to see how dirty and unforgiving they are. The Clinton's did have some good social policies that they wanted to introduce, such as a medicare system for all, however, they were blocked at every turn by the Republicans who protect the big corporations. During an interview on this side of the pond, Mrs. Clinton stated that it was easier for the US to bring in a medicare system in another country than it was in their own.
Unfortunately the line up of candidates on the Democratic side ready to take on Bush, do not have anyone of the calibre of Hillary Clinton.
Aye - Andy.

Hi Sep, you old red neck Gunner you, where you bin this last few months, loving your 14 year old cousin again?, or is she 15 now, which makes it legal?. We missed your in depth discussions on world affairs aka the KKK boys, and there cute little games, like dressing up and wearing pointy hoods to go to meetings. We have similar go to meeting games here, they call themselves Freemasons.

I was going to say "Welcome back Count". You went quiet for a day or two after your big announcement. Any change in your feelings?

Hello,
I have to give Hilary Clinton a lot of credit because she has the guts to carry on despite all the negative press, the jealousies of people in her own party as well as others and the continuous public scrutiny of her personal life. I have not seen any other Democrat who has really caught my attention. I really liked her proposals on the US healthcare system. I hope she makes it one day but the present time is not ripe.
I must admit though, I don’t believe George Bush Jnr is a bad person at heart just a bit misunderstood, but he does have some terrible advisors in his administration (i.e D. Cheney). The other Republican I liked was Senator McCain ( I don’t know much about his background but he was an ex Vietnam POW) who lost the republican nomination. He seemed a gentler kind of politician but was not as well connected or well funded as George Jnr.
P.S
Is Bubbba a reference to LB Johnson ?

I think Grungey is referring to Bubba "Mine's a Bud" Schottenheimer, a Democrat whiz kid of the 70s/80s. He helped carry through LBJ's appeasement policies with the pubescent militia that was forming within the White House proposing war with France. 30 years on and the enemy remains the same. One day France will get it from the US, I wonder what Grungey reckons will be the outcome.
