Just wondering if anyone out there had recently ( within the last 2 years ) completed the above course.
If so what was it like, how did they find the course, was anyone quite nervous about doing the jumps and basically did it meet any expectations you had.
Any info would be great.
Cheers Blokes

Does everyone passing P Company automatically go onto this course, or just a select few?
I've heard reports that there are so many cut-backs that a lot of these courses have been scrapped???
Don't know if this is true.
Could someone passing P Company end up being deployed on operations without ever having done parachute training?
I keep hearing conflicting reports. Bit confused.

Yes, it would be possible to be deployed whilst still being a Penguin as you are sent straight to your Battalion after depot these days and they book you on your jumps course. I doubt it'd be much fun being in Battalion without your wings though.
I've heard of a few lads having to wait a couple of months to get on their jumps course but they all get on eventually and I'm sure those in charge at Battalion do their utmost to get lads their wings asap.
