4para gap year

Anyone thinking of or going for the Gap Year that 4 para are offering?

I applied for it but there was an issue with me not being 18 'til the 10th of August,
so in the end they said I couldn't do it.

Ahh no worries mate! I still ain't made my mind up whether or not to do it yet.

How much do you know about it? Is it popular or not?

Don't know that much about it,
and I don't if it's popular or not so I probably won't be much help.

Sounds like a pretty good idea though,
great as a gap year before uni or to see if the Paras are right for you,
only problem I saw was the tour,
they were always a bit vague on it,
said they weren't 100% sure if you'd do one,
and if you did there was a good chance it was in Cyprus,
I would prefer Iraq or Afghanistan to be honest.

Your best bet would be to phone them up and ask them anything you wanna know,
the reason they probably didn't know about the tour was I was asking them about a year ago.

HEy thanks for posting this I wouldn't of found out otherwise. I won't be doing it this year because I'm in my final year of college, but in 09 this would be a great gap year since I wanted to try get on a tour with the TA anyway you may as well do it with the Paras.

If you go through with it can you give me a buzz via pm and tell me how it was?
