That was amazing. It makes you want to get out and have ago your self. it is deffinatly the kind of thing were a bunch of you would have ago together. It would look a bit wierd on your own. they were trying to get permission to make an actual parkour park near me it would be cool if they do.

It is definitely the kind of thing where a bunch of you could have a go together, as it would look a bit weird on your own.

Parkour or 'Free Running' has no limits del_boi. You can do it anywhere you want to. For example, you run through the concrete jungle, quickly negotiating all sorts of obstacles and things that can or could represent a challenge, flip over park benches and run along the railings that surround the park - you're Free Running.del_boi wrote:That was amazing. These blokes just do it with finesse though.

Yes I've read all about it. The first time it became big public knowledge over here was when there was a program about it a few years ago called 'Jumping Britain'. It was quite good to watch and quite an eye opener as well. It featured Sebastien Foucan and David Belle and a group of English Traceurs who did the tour with him.
If anyone can find this then it's worth watching. Good entertainment as well watching Sebastien Foucan jump a 12 meter gap in the roof of Cardiff's Millenium Stadium.
This is it
They did other mental things as well and it's quite inspiring to watch.

Not to be pedantic
I just need to clear a few things up abdout parkour and free running. Mainly becuase there are some people about who will bite your head off if you use the two in the samw sentence.
I'll break it down.
Parkour = Effciency through movement. No superfluros movements i.e no flips or spins. Parkour is meant to be effcient.
Free running = Elements of parkour with flips spins and subjective artisit movements.
David Belle was not in Jump Britain as he does not endorse free running, there is a fairly big rift in the community with a fair bit of back biting.
Parkour has a lot of roots in methode naturelle < (french)Which is a nutty workout.
