Was just wondering, does anyone know how to make pressups abit easier? They are the worst thing ever for me, No matter how much i practice them it doesnt seem to make it any easier, I know that girls have to do like 23 pressups in about 2 minutes, Are you aloud to stop maybe half way through then start up again?

Well in terms of our limit, just recently my rec. sgt updated me on the BFT requirments, he said its gone up to 60 in 2 minutes rather than 54 i believe it was???
hmmm nah dont think theres an easier way, you could try to make it easier, but you have to bare in mind on the BFT they have to be good controlled pressups, not half down then up ones...
Trust me mate keep doin em, you may think your doing loads but you can never do enough, 2 weeks ago i was struggling to get by 45-50 now im bangin the whole 60 out nonstop, one thing i have found is when you do pressups, kind of look down for a second, it relieves the neck pains you might have from keeping your head upright all the time, and that can usually be the cause of your shoulders aching too.

So do girls have to do 60 in 2 minutes aswell?
I was thinking about maybe getting a personal trainer for 3 months, that way i know im doin it right, plus im sure he'll keep me on my toes, I get so easily distracted if im out doing a run etc with mates.
And how many situps do girls have to do aswell? im not sure if its the same as fellas or not?

Olá. If you're struggling with pressups, the best way to do it would be by doing them at an incline.

Basically, using something like a table to start with, gradually as you get better at doing pressups, move your feet further and further back and then have a smaller and smaller object to do pressups with until eventually you will be able to crack out a few decently normally.
On an unrelated subject; congratulations for making more male hormones jump in the last week than has done around here for months. The last time guys were clambering over each other like they have over you was when I joined

Try this website - http://hundredpushups.com/ . Somebody on this site told me about it a while ago and it really helps. Alternative is to do max pressups first thing in the morning and last thing at night.

But on a more serious note, BA1 you've pissed off pretty much everyone on this site from those who have been there and done it to a lot of average Joe wannabies like my self.
Just as a suggestion, how about you re-evaluate the way you put you're self across and realize what a total prong you have been... I’m sure this will go straight over you're head and you'll end up being binned like a host of mongs that have gone before or maybe you might just turn things around
This site is a valuable asset if used right and I’ve personally benefited from it no end (not to mention meet plenty of top people) join in, play nice or sod off ASAP
