Life inside Para Depot at Catterick

Post by Woody91 »

Would it be possible for someone to describe what an average day or week is like in the early stages of Infantry Training at Para Depot?

And any advice whilst being there?

Cheers, Woody.

im at week 11, it basically varys becuase our training is so much more intense than the crap hats but on average we will be : up at 5am
water parade at 5:55, scoff and all room jobs done for 7am, either tabbing, a run or p.t till 8-9 then lessons, afternoon will be weapons training out in the back area or if you good boys like us you will enjoy a 2 hour beasting round the area up and down land of nod. after week 6 you get stood down between 4-5 then the nights your own get your admin done and get your f@#k nut down coz it doesnt get easier, before week 6 youl be working up unitl about half 9 but youl be up till 11-1am doing admin...enjoy remeber lads passion!!!!

Locker (plus foot locker) layout, ironing clothes from laundry, cleaned bed space, boots polished, shower. In the morning, teeth, shave, block jobs (toilets, showers, washrooms, corridor and outside must be clean), bed made.
