Really Peeved Off
Hi everyone,
I have a problem and its really starting to pee me right off. When I first started on my goals to lose weight and get my fitness up so I could join the Royal Marines I was loving it because the weight was dropping off. Now it's really hard to get off and it wont budge and I am really getting upset and pee'd off about it and it's making me want to just quit (I won't though). Has anyone else on here had this problem and how did you overcome it? By just cracking on?
Thanks for reading guys.

If you've just maintained the intensity of training you've been doing since the weight was dropping off that will be why. You probably need to exercise that bit more, or lower your calorie intake a bit to get the rest off. I mean, for a 24 stone obese guy it's easy to loose a stone. But for a 15 stone guy it's MUCH harder.
Just stick at it, you're just use to seeing it fly off you but it will take time.
It will come.

It all depends on your height and body mass. Some people are built along the lines of a brick shithouse and they ain't gonna change. When I said the average Bootneck is medium height and medium weight I was not taking into account those guys with big bones.
Crack on, and see what what happens in other words. You won't know until you try will you? Negative waves!

Don't let it bother you mate, I'm one of those people built like a brick out house. I used to be 17.9 stone, but after 6 months I'm down to 15.9 and hit the wall there. I think there comes a point when you get to your natural build and because it's not just excess flab it's harder to get rid of it.
I'm losing about a pound a week or thereabouts now, just keep at it mate, if you're not already, throw in alot of hill sprints, normal sprints, interval sessions etc, that will get it moving, but above all chin up mate, it will come off!

Yes thats a good point actually, im measuring my waist when I weigh myself to get an idea of progression. esspecialy useful when you have lost all excess weight and are now burnin off your "base" fat, as you only tend to loose a pound or two a week but you can easily put that on in muscle.lewis wrote:Also, don't confuse loosing weight with loosing body fat. If you are loosing fat, but gaining a bit of muscle, the scales may tell you there has been no change, when there has been.

curcuit's, plenty of long distance running, pull ups, press ups, short fast sprints, lot's of rep's using light weights, and sit ups (although you will not develop/begin to see, abs until you have shed a bit more weight by using these simple exercises that are needed for the Royal's
