Assault Course Record Times?

Post by lil_dinger_bell »

Just wanted to know who holds the record on the Assualt Coruse?

My dad claims he held the record time for years so I am just posting a query to see who holds it and for what time?

- posted this on the military forum, so I thought I would try over here.

Cheers

I heard a South African bloke had held the record for a long time. Not too sure though mate.
- If you overtrained, it means that you didn't train hard enough to handle that level of training

- Perseverance is the hard work you do after you get tired of doing the hard work you already did

When I was on my 'Look at life' course at Lympstone we had Marine Stubbs or 'Stubbsy' taking us for a lot of things, including the Assault Course. If I remember rightly, he said he currently had the record time. I'm not sure if he was joking but I'm pretty sure I saw his name in the sign saying what the fastest time was.

Stubbsy was an Australian who was leaving the Corps soon to go back to Australia. This was back in around December time.

Stubbsy was in my troop in training and held it still last time I was there at 2min 58s, he was stupidly fit though. Surprised he's leaving the Corps already.

He gave us all a card at the end of the look at life course which we can give to our AFCO and if we get past around week 12 of training he gets £1000 haha. I handed mine in, I hope it goes through alright, he was a top guy.
