Basic

Post by Tittygoodboy69 »

Could anyone tell me what to really expect from basic?
What they tell you in the recruitment offices seems a bit...well.... seems like a load of crap.

I would love to know honestly what infantry go through in phase one and phase two; just so I know what to expect. :)

Any help truly appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks for the positive response . . . I know that much about it.
Just that, the recruitment guys make it look all shiny, pretty and fun. Just wondered what it's really like. Maybe from someone who has been there recently. . .

Sorry but this isn't going to be a very informative post and not what you want to hear but......... the fact is that unless you've been there yourself you can't understand what it's like and it can't really be explained.

All people can tell you is that, you'll go out in the field, do loads of PT, learn how to use your rifle, iron etc...... and how sometimes it's great & sometimes it's crap basically all the obvious stuff you already know .

How you will cope and generally what it's like is different for everyone and it's hard to explain. Just try not to over think things, deal with it when you get there and remember the course is designed to be passed so long as you have the drive and determination to get through.

Good luck mate.
