Can anybody please tell me more about a job in the Royal Army Veterinary Corps as a dog trainer?

What's the training like, where is it done and whats the requirements to join?

I love dogs, mans best friend they are, I got a Jack Russell.

Yeah it is. Thats why I chose to become a dog trainer because I get to do 2 things I love doing the most: soldiering and working with dogs...

Damnit! I was so hoping you would say:

Spoiled my fun you did! :D

PS I know f@#k all about the Vet Corps, but what with the general perception of terrorist threats to mil bases, and the number of K9 teams I have seen working the perimeter of most every base I've been to, it seems like you should investigate the chances of being posted to a backwater town somewhere in Wiltshire to walk the fence for months. Something to consider if you are more of the sniffing out munitions in Afghan type.
