Howdy

Post by BenGee1981 »

Hello all,

I've just joined after hearing about the site through a friend, glad I have too as the information I've found already in 2 days is priceless!

Im Ben, 26 from Staffordshire and preparing myself for entering the PRMC.
Everythings going fine at the minute with the only struggle being press-ups. I have no problem with pull-ups but pushing the body weight is proving a struggle! Got a nice pyramid routine to start as of Monday so should cure that!

Once again thanks to all for the information provided through experience and I'm sure I WILL see some of you soon when i get through to the RT. :D

Hello and welcome to the site mate, as you can see it's a cracking site... full of great information and people.

And what’s with all these folks from Staffordshire (seems to me like there’s been 3-4 new staffs lad on board recently :D ), at least the sites going in the right direction  ... the more Oatcake lovers on board the better :P

Best of luck

Cheers mucca.

Argos weren't taking on anymore so didn't have anywhere else to go  so I thought ahhhh RM.

Press ups are getting better now! Although doing them in one go is a struggle as I can't get over 12. Did 55 during quarter of an hour on a pyramid set, obviously a long way to go but it's just a matter of time :D

Cracking attitude, Although if you are working hard you will be surprised how fast they will come, a while back I felt like my press ups where the only thing that weren’t going anywhere, then suddenly they started moving and now are at a respectable PB of 51. (Perhaps a little bit down as I’ve had to have 4 days of due to a bruised chest acquired playing rugby, but that shouldn't be that bad.)

Keep thinking positive and just be persistent, don't let them beat you or get down hearted because you have a few bad sessions.

All the best
