Does anyone know where abouts HMS Cornwall is at the minute and what it's upto?

I would say a look on the Royal Navy web site but after a quick scan it doesn't look like it has been updated with the current whereabouts. I would guess Plymouth but could be wrong.

I might be wrong but I think they had some problems somewhere. Might have been somewhere on the east coast. But I'm not 100% certain.
