Don't quote me on this but I am pretty sure you can. Some people wore contacts, and some wore glasses. They said it was personal preference. Most people prefer to wear glasses when doing phys.
Hope this helps

bit of a late reply but you can wear contacts, you will get issued pussers glasses for the field though as putting in lenses in the filed can infect your eyes (and is a general pain in the arse).

Do glasses/contacts restrict you from any jobs in the marines and are there requirements? Like dioptre (i think that's how you spell it).

When you have your eye test you'll soon find out when you talk to your AFCO about it. They're the best people to advise you about that sort of thing as they know what would be required.

Probably not. You should go and have an eye test and they will obviously be able to tell you how good your vision is. That might give you some idea what you think you could do. Whether the forces would think so i honestly dont know. Best to go to the AFCO, thats what they're there for mate.
Depending on the mark you get for your eye test before you have your medical they can best advise you. Its as simple as that mate.

Hope that was of some help. All the best. 8)

Because he had been out on the Ale the night before and introduced the C/Sgt RM to his two mates Huey and Ralph. Them buggers are lethal in an enclosed space...I know!!!

I liked that

In all seriousness though - I had chronic compartment syndrome, Fido. I developed it in both my shins so i had to wait because of an operation. Taken me a while to get back together but im getting on now though, despite more injuries :-?

Also, dont mess with the Artist. Hes a professional potato peeler. Been up and down the country, all over the world and stuff. Can't believe you've never heard of him?! So i've read, he used to do all f'kin sorts
