whats the actual layout of the weekend. Does it mirror that of PRMC?
I think it follows a similar format to PRMC, but not identical. For instance, our PTI has been telling us that along with the bleep test, push ups, sit ups and pull ups we also have to do max burpees in 1 minute.
3 miler will be the same I imagine, but as for the 'bottom field' part of PRMC I'm not sure. I imagine there is some kind of determination test but what it is will probably depend on the facilities at the detachment. Whether there'll be an equivalent of Gym Test 2 I don't know.
Obviously there'll be an interview as well, and we've been told to watch out for that because some of the guys running the interviews could be HR people or recruiters in civvy street, which gives a whole lot more potential for them to trip you up!
It's a shame everyone at our det seems pretty vague on what we'll actually be doing when we get there, not like PRMC where every man and his dog seem to know the format!
When is your selection mate? If it's after mine (September) then I'll let you know what it's like, if not then perhaps you could do the same for me? We could do with a selection weekend diary on here, there are millions of PRMC and POC ones but nothing for the reserves!
