New cheap issued boots

Post by ryo1987 »

I got a new pair of army issued boots from the Stores in my TA base the other day because my original ones were too big (10 large) So i tried a 10 small and they were too tight so i settled for 10 Medium but my heels are killing in them and they feel like my feet are slipping in them. Any advice on what i need to do. Ps Im training for Rock apes so thats why im trying to run in boots.

Doesn't the small, medium and large denote width fitting?

Try a 9M instead.

BTW Why are the TA issuing you boots if you're joining the RAF Regiment?

Try superfeet insoles, they take a bit of braking in but well worth the money!!!

www.blacks.co.uk they should have them for around £30

I assume you are with the TA to gain a bit of military experince before you try for the RAF regt? Have you done PGAC yet?
If not your best to talk to some one at your unit about your boots, Without your feet in good order you wont be much use, So any decent guy at your unit should be able to advise you, You will be issued new boots when you arrive for your gunner training anyway.

Me too, I got some for a fiver in Millets. I haven't tried Superfeet, but they're a massive improvement on the mesh insoles that came with the boots.
