its bad
Before you insult someone, first walk a mile in their shoes, that way when you insult them, you are a mile away and you have their shoes.

I think this may be another theory like the Para's not getting to jump anymore, lets not get worried yet :)

*note to self - this might NOT be the best time to be applying to said Navy, are you really sure that you want to dismiss hairdressing as a career option at this stage?*

There is more info about the plans here: http://www.thespoof.com/news/spoof.cfm? ... e=s3i13397

This has not been confirmed yet but either way, the constant reduction of the surface fleet is worrying,

It said in the sun at the weekend though that the navy was having two new aircraft carriers twice the size of the ones they have got, it says that they can hold up to 50 aircraft and they should come into service in 2012

Well considering its well known they've been after the two new carriers for ages I wouldn't say that. The plans are not finalised however but what has been quoted that the Sun has said is just whats available on the Navy website.

Defence News say this however, perhaps aimed at this article, although not reading the Sun I don't know what that article did say
Claims new aircraft carriers have got go-ahead
A newspaper speculates that detailed plans for the building of two new large aircraft carriers for the Royal Navy have been decided. However, no decision has yet been taken.

The plan is for them to enter service to coincide with the future joint combat aircraft http://www.royalnavy.mod.uk/server/show/nav.2396
