Last summer i applied to go to a Meet The Marines at Helston but it was cancelled due to lack of numbers. Hope they come around again this summer.

I can understand what DANTAE is saying...they usually have multiple events all over the country. Maybe what DANTAE was asking was if there will be a meet the marines session anywhere in London not if Foxtricks himself was going. If DANTAE wasn't asking this then i am because Wales is long way from Kent and I missed last years events!

I did one in Rotherham. It was ok, but there were a load of school groups there, which is the group they are aiming at I guess but it got on my t*ts a bit. It didn't really teach me much about the corps as I'd found out a lot of what they were saying all ready, but it did give me the chance to talk to some of the marines which was good.

It's basically different areas set up. One was an abseiling wall, a paintball shooting area, a lake with a boat on it for a ride in these ultra fast boats, a weapons display area, aswell as an area showing how the marines live in the field, how they eat and an area to show some un armed combat skills.

It's definately worth a look if your unsure if you want to go for the marines, but if your heart is all ready set on it anyway it won't do much for you.

Its this tuesday to friday i think should be good.. There are events in London but will let you all know nearer the time.. After this week there is an event in Bristol so if you cant make it to Port Talbot do not fear the foxfish will be in your neck of the woods at some stage..

Anyway be safe and bring your misses along!!!

You should probably make sure you've got all your vacinations up to date if you're going to Port Talbot.
