Work & Shift Patterns

Post by PhilM »

How do people in the RMR find working shift patterns?

In the industry I am in (Aircraft Engineering), nearly everyone works shift, for me, its looking like 4on 4 off nightshift (starting in May).

As someone who is shortly joining holding troop and then hopefully onto recruit training, how do you think I'll find it?

Lots of time off for training yes, but it could be a nightmare to make every Wednesday evening etc, all depends how the shift pattern lays itself out.

Anyone got any thoughts? I'd imagine its a lot easier once through RT.

Dunno about shifts but from what we've been told you can take as long as necessary to get your lid.
