security clearance

Does anyone know who in ireland deals with security clearance ,the afco says if I know someone in the gardai they might speed up my clearance?

I talked to a fella in the gardai I know since I was young and he tried a few places for me with no success,so he said he needs to know exactly where to look.I passed my prmc now Im gutted because I dont want to wait ten months (Il be 25 by then).

I know most of the lads on this forum live in england but I said Id ask anyway,thanks.
