has anyone ever thought to mention this site to your afco might help some lads that dont know about it?
ex nod was diagnosed with chronic compartment syndrome rejoining eventually.

currently in australia as im traveling the world before i rejoin the marines.

I mentioned it to my AFCO pretty much as soon as I discovered it, as I found that it answered most of the questions that I had which a non-RM recruiting officer wouldn't be able to. I would urge everyone to tell their AFCO about this site as it could be a major aid to recruits. However I'm not sure whether the AFCO has recommended it to any other recruits or whether they are allowed to point out non-official internet forums. Anyone know the policy on this?

I can see the plus and the begatives for this. The positive side being obvious.

But if this site were to be recognised by the MoD or something like that - you can probably bet we wouldnt be able to talk about half the stuff we do, and that includes having a go online about certain people.

I mention this to my careers guy during my interview many moons ago, he left then came back saying he'd checked it out and that it seemed okay, to be honest for them to recomend it officaly some one would have to sit and read every single post on every single topic on every board to check if any of it is bad or rong info or whatever, :-?

During my royal marine interview the other week i was recommanded this site.

That might have been because of euro_andrew. Im sure Andy has mentioned it to his AFCO???? 8)
