i'm having a serious re-think about wether i should go for office, im half way through the application process and have a POC date for 21st of may but i keep thinking ive took on to much. half of me says i have nothing to lose and the other thinks i should ask if i could change to do a PRMC, but it may be to late. what do you think?

well all i can say fella is that it's completely your choice follow what you believe will be best . I was going to go for officer but i ended up going for marine as i wanted to be one of the lads , to take a place in a troop do the job , have fun and do what i was told . i thought for me being an officer you couldn't be one of the lads , but look at it this way .

.More pay
.Better life
.Go higher up rank ladder
. Get saluted :D

But anyway fella your choice , no one elses just very tough selection process for officer . good luck

The hardest part to get used to for me i thought was admin , Lets face it your all fit enough otherwise you wouldn't pass prmc but the amount of ironing and cleaning you get on a night can really get you down its depresssing to know that once youv'e finished all the hard stuff youve got 3 or more hours of admin to go back too but ahh well got to crack on aye :D . But yeh definetly a more mental thing then physical. foundation is hardest as no ones done anything like this before so you've got to settle in .

well spare time pfffttt you dont get any hahah joke well you dont really get any spare time during a working week youv'e got to much admin e.t.c but if you do it's usually phone calls to loved ones e.t.c. But on the weekends it kicks off haah straight in to exeter get rat arsed and attempt to pull some essence bird rarely happens like hahah . and further on in training you can go down to clubs and things like that.

to be honest with you fella , i thought my training team were great and everyone else did as well . They were always fair with us , theyd give you so many chances to get thins right then if you didn't you'd get put on the flank (extra drill , phys) or just a good bollocking.

for some silly reason i rekon adim wouldn't bother me that much. i am one of those people who has to have things done right, in my room if i see something lying around out of place ill move it, it i have clothes lying around ill put them away, nicelly folded etc. think i may have obsessive compulsive disorder if that is the right term.
