All-out 110% effort for the 1.5 miles back but the PTI ran with us for the first 1.5 mile.

They havn't changed it i don't think, it just depends on the PTI i think.

Big congrats to you JCAP3!! Nice one!
Regarding the 3 miler, a couple of lads and I actually over heard the training team on my PRMC last week discussing trialling a "new way" of doing the run....it kinda freaked us out at the time LOL because we didnt know if they wanted us to hear! But it kinda messed with us a tad :D Looks like you guys were the start of the trial LOL

Again, well done chap!

Good effort mate, I did mine this time last year, and they did the same with us in regards to keeping us waiting in the cold.

I used to hate the 3 miler in RT as the 1.5 best effort starts on a bloody long hill.

Just practise, thats all - a training partner helps alot too - get him to put his hand under your chest and watch your technique for any faults.

What i have been doing is pyramids (recently, but seems to have helped):

for example you do 60 press-ups - perfect technique
2 minutes rest
50 press-ups
2 minute rest
40 press-ups

Build on that by about 3 each week.

I had 10 knocked off my sit-ups, you must touch the top of your knees with your elbows, not the sides!
