Frustrated...

Post by UtrinqueParatus »

I was supposed to be going up to catterick to start training for the parachute regiment in a few days but today received a phone call from cardiff afco telling me i have to attend another medical at lichfield on the 1st of february because of a car accident i had a few years ago.... I am way above the minimum standard of fitness for the paras and i go tabbing up the breccies every weekend if not every other so i have no medical problems what so ever. So i guess im not likely to start training now till march/april :( Anyway not really a constructive post just a vent for some frustration :p

maybe...just maybe...they want to just do a quick recheck and then the doc will give the okay and you'll be put in training. If you were at the point where you were about to start training they'll have all the information they need. So as long as the doc says your good to go I shouldnt think they'd delay you any further.

But thats just my thoughts on what a good system would do, dont know how speedy/efficient the process is yet :)

Dont worry mate better to be safe than sorry - and you can never be too fit. So keep training!!

Good job on getting this far and good luck with the rest *cough*p-company *cough*
I don't really know what to say here - apart from GOOD LUCK to everyone going to PRMC or POC - remember: people here have been there and come out alive, pass or fail....its YOUR EFFORTS that count!!!
