ARe these more limited than those in the army? ive searched but to no avail so if anyone has any links they would be most appreciated.
IM specifically after one of two barbell sports - powerlifting or weightlifting (the olympic lifts, not just the act of curling a bar..lol)

Indeed it does, but was the best I could find on the topic.
So I thought I’d fire it up here anyway for you. It gives you an idea of the sort of sports on offer. I wouldn’t let the lack of weightlifting clubs put you off.
The word “Helped” made me form the conclusion that it is possible to train in these sports. Good luck mate
