uhm, okey, so i've got a little problem with coffee and coffeine addiction, i just can't stop drinking lots of it, well, it's kinda like emotional eating, and right now i need a little advice from someone who could stop smoking, or quit alcool, how did you do it??? :(
it's like stop now and forever or do it gradually...
sorry for bothering with something like this, but it's a problem for me :x

It's definitely all psychological.

I was in the same situation as yourself but one day i decided to change my habits. In my mind i saw it as a challenge and i stayed off it straight for over a year. I've been drinking alternatives for a long time now, mainly green tea. Educating yourself will also help you. If you look up the disadvantages coffee has on your body you will change. I suggest not immediately stopping altogether but try and gradually come off it.

The only coffee i have now is from coffee shops, the odd one but i can definitely control whatever i put into my body. Mind over matter and all that tosh. It really does work :)

Yes, well, i tried to do it gradually three times, and the after a few months it's always like i'm on start-point AGAIN
So i'll try the more drastic one, as to put it down at once, aye, day 1 of a war against myself 8)
apparently it gets easier over time....
thanks for the replies, and well, somekinda of support...(yeah, it's sad that i'm gaining support from the web, but not everybody is born into a supporting environment...)
well, train hard and keep safe

If you can't stop drinking coffee it might help if you stop making it.

There's nothing wrong with drinking lots of coffee apart from the caffeine content so why not just drink decaf in its place?

Get rid of it all in the house and never buy it again, also drink somthing in it's place.
