Don't mind me, I'm just jealous, sat here shining me arse in front of a computer - would love to be amongst it again.
I love it really. It just all sounds a bit daunting when the closest thing to soldiering you've been doing for two weeks is watch the 'Sharpe' boxset, whilst getting my fat napper down for about 10 hours a night.

I should of just slept in the garden for two weeks and got my mum to throw me scraps of meat.

Remember to take good care of your feet on HM, although it's very hard when your feet are constantly piss wet through. On the yomp to Survival Ex i got many blisters and my first infection, wonderful

Good effort Matt - it won't take long to get back in the swing of things. I hated going bak after leave. I've a jaded view of Hunters Gloom as I (for various reasons) spent most of my 'spare' time running around a ploughed field with my rifle above my head  That sorted me out - ah the joys of behaviour aversion therapy 8)

its all about the experience, its not as bad as people say it is, plus you also have to account the weather, if you get decent weather then you'll have a decent time, bad weather well you can still have a good time, it makes going to ground funner because its like your on one of those slippery mates, and you're already dirty so what does it matter if you give a little extra, Its a good time, don't worry.

Hunters Moon is not as bad as people make out, You won't hear anything said on here that you won't hear of nods in training. The stuff i heard about Hunters Moon of other nods man was i shitting myself.

It does all depend on the weather though, we had good weather for it so it wasn't that bad for us, i think we only had 1 day of rain but you have a laugh about it, and it was no where near as bad as its made out and certainly not worth handing your chit in for. Running Man was a much worse exercise for me and i had to do it twice :( (injury not biff lol!)

Got to admit though the Yomp to Survival Ex was defainatly the hardest thing i ever did in training.

Speaking of Hunters Moon was yall thrashed in the pool and sprinting up and down that hill, killer or what? Glad i was a winner first time :P

Oh man how much i miss it

That hill sprinting called 'the world loves winners'? first man or 2 up stay and watch the rest of the troop sprinting.
