Right eye 6/12 minimum, left eye 6/24 minimum, both eyes together 6/9 minimum.

Failed mine couple of weeks ago.

Good luck!

This link gives all the navy's requirements for eye sight. It depends on what you want to do as some secialisations require better sight.
Hope this helps!

i was in standard box one of 3, i think you can get into any box and pass it, but if you arnt in one of those boxes you fail the eye exam. That is correct is it not yet_mae? Was when i got mine done.

Keep your eyes open for what box he/she ticks

My optician report said I have 6/5- vision, she said that its better than 20/20 vision both great short and long sight :o . . .

Im left handed but shoot like a right handed person, like i write and stir tea with my left, but punch and mostly pick up stuff with my right (very weird).

Mine was 6/5+ in both (i think) and i was in the top box which is the best one, and i didnt think my eyesight was very good, so i wouldnt worry about it, nothing you can do if your eyesight is bad.
