How fast for PJFT

Post by ChrisBell »

I was interested to know how fast people run at for there PJFT. I worked out that to do it in 10mins you have to run at 14.4kph(is this right?!)what do others do?

Haha dont worry about the pjft just get it done in under 10.45 , its a simple pass or fail , and what you can do on a treadmill will make no difference down at prmc . I got 8.40 without much if any treadmill training but as long as you get that 10.45 or under dont worry about it.
Don't consider failure and then it wont consider you!

hi chris,

i ran my PJFT in 10.05mins and stayed around the 14.4kph mark, but like jacko and other members on this forum have said, dont worry to much about it, just get under the 10.45mins allowed and youre on course for the next hurdle... your PRMC 8)
all the best,

My fastest PJFT time is 9.22 and that was running at 15.5 for the duration of the run, then speeding up towards the end to about 18.0. It's soon over so it's good to just out up with it.
