Good. I personally love the feel of boots once their broken in, some of the comfiest footwear going I reckon, probally because they shape perfectly for your feet.KJ-Edwards wrote:I went for a long walk in my boots and wore them whilst watching a film, moving them around constantly where it was tight. They feel so comfy now, better than my trainers to be frank hahaha.

yeh i heard about taking a pee in your boots! seems odd to me, and i havent tried it...yet.
the PTIs told us on our PRMC not to, but everyone i spoke to who is in RT has run in them. i think i might give it a go, nothing massive, just maybe a 3 miler or a bit of a bottom field type session.
but im not advising anyone to wear them, dont want my head chewed off for giving out bad info.

kj-edwards i got the same problem that you got with the heel and unfortuntly it doesn't go away quickly if you were them alot and i mean alot you will get a pain in the back of your ankle called tendinitous* and its a killers but that will slowly go away. you can still feel your boots rubbing but doesnt move as much.
if they keep playing you up when you get here change them asap just tell your drill leader about your problem.
i got a nice new pair for around camp and theyre alot better then my field boots.
p.s if you still get the pain after changing your boots go to the medical and they'll strap it up like they did mine, all down the lower back of your leg which helps alot.

JoeAleln28, i have been a naughty boy and jogged about a mile and half in them, and i fount it to be good for the boot molding to my foot shape
Thanks sully26, Mine are dandy now, just a bit of friction on the right heel, but nothing that will not go away soon.
