13 WEEKS LEFT!!!

Post by Felias »

Hi guys, I'm now in week 19. Got 25 originals left from 49. Still going very strong and the troop is very strong. We have had some grueling bottomfield sessions in which everyone is a total hangout. But 13 weeks left until I am green. 8) Nickosx is also doing very well. Cracking on as we do!

I am at camp now missing A&T. It's not good when your already hanging out and you have to do like 200 pressups in the space of 1 hr! :( along with 000's of situps and burpees. Training is going very well in general and we are progressing very quickly. Bottomfield ropes are probably one of the best ways to get stronger. If any of you can get your hands on gym ropes which you can climb do it as it will help you out massively. Nickosx, is struggling a bit on the regains and hasn't completed a full one with kit on yet. I find them hard but have them squared away now. The troop ability to speedmarch with 21lbs and rifle is good everyone finishes together. I have also been pinged for GPMG bitch primarily because I can run and sprint with it aswell as I can with the LSW. But then again I want that mans weapon. :D
The worst bits so far has been woodbury common, that place is horrible. Dartmoor all the way! Best bits have been getting blasted with the training team in France.

Good luck, 13 weeks... lucky bar steward!!

I was in town last night (halloween) and whilst standing at the bar, i turned round to have a wannabe in CS95's beside me. What made this guy better than every other 'soldier' in the place was his "Royal Marines Commando" shoulder patches. Couldn't keep my eyes off (in a non gay way). The owner of that uniform worked bloody hard to get it, whats he doing giving it to someone he knows to wear as a costume! (making a few assumptions there)

fingers crossed you will be in that position soon, and wearing the patches knowing you earned them.

i dont even think you should touch a proper royal marine uniform or green beret before actually earning it. That is totally gay and loserish.
Just Lie back and think of England.

I will probably be doing GD for a bit, then do sigs or SF. Training is hard but this week is a chilled out one. We are meant to be recovering but I have lactic buildup everywhere. Feel so sore from the morning gym sessions the Tp cmdr has put me on.

I really don't think he meant it like that.
