Had my interview and medical today
I passed my interview and then went straight for my medical. I told the doctor that I'd had knee pain the last two times I've been running. He hasn't passed me today and now needs further information from my GP about my medical history. I'm gutted. I wish I'd never had said anything about my knee. I thought a lot of lads who go through the medical have the odd knee niggle. I wish I'd just lied and said that I've never had any problems at all. Has anyone else had to have the docotr request further info from you're GP?
If this stops me getting in im going to be so gutted.

Have you been to the doctors about you knee before??
If not don't worry you'll be fine, all he'll be doing is making sure you have no history of knee problems etc etc, so relax you'll be alright

Chris, I have been once before when I was about 14 (im 19 now). The thing is, it's not the same problem, its in a different place, before it was the lower knee below the knee cap, this time its the side and due to an injury to my foot a few weeks back I think. He didn't really listen to what I was saying. He said they could possibly say that I might have to come back when theres been 6 months, pain free.chris5818 wrote:Have you been to the doctors about you knee before??

If you fail, is it possible to appeal or get a second opinion?
Just go back from a pb mile and half (10mins16secs), hope I get my chance at a prmc
I done my knee in when training in the paras as a recruit. got medical discharge for it. But im still allowed to re-enter. as long as your knee is ok now you will be fine. but you are bound to worry, its only natural. and im sure you will be fine. Also what are your running shoes like? they might be the cause of current your knee problem.
