Interview tomorrow and i need a little help.

Post by Sedd 28 »

Hi

I have my interview tomorrow morning and i can't seem to find out where or what 40 Commando RM are and what they are up to. I know about 42 & 45 Commando RM, i'm just struggling with 40. I have looked on the the website but there is no current information so i was hoping somebody here would be able to let me know.

Thanks.

Thats strange that you can't find it.

40 Commando Royal Marines, based at Norton Manor Camp in Taunton, Somerset.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3_Commando ... al_Marines

Wikipedia is fantastic for all things Royal Marines, though some parts are a little out of date.

Ahhh ok, this kind of thing is difficult to find online.

Do you have the July/Aug 2006 Issue of the Globe and Laurel? If yes, you will find it in there (first page I think)

Other than that theres no other decent resources.

Yep, G&L is the best resource for all current deployments. It's all displayed on one of the pages.

It is for my PRMC, after my recruitment test my careers officer told me the things he would be asking me in the interview and one of them was what the corps are up to and why. He also said he would be asking about vehicle's and weapons they use as well as the history and what happens during training. Is there anything else anybody else has been asked during the interview?.

The last Royal to die in combat. As far as I know it was Joseph David Windall in the Nimrod crash recently.
