Hi I'm currently in the URNU and am applying to the RN to be a Medical Officer.
I have to undertake a research project into psychiatry and mine is on PTSD, its prevention and subesquent treatment.
I was just wondering what the protocol is for a service personnel member who has returned from active duty. Is it compulsory for them to undergo debriefing or is it optional? Also what is the attitude of personnel towards such treatment.
I realise this is a sensitive issue and I apologise if I have offended anyone.
Thanks very much
Soph
