What are all the injections for? and how do you know whether you need them?

Tetanus (I'm guessing), especially as the odds of cutting yourself on something rusty are fairly high in this sort of career.

Boosters for anything you were vaccinated against as a child (my guess here is simply to make sure everybody is immune. Otherwise a disease could sweep through everybody)

Plus possibly things like Hep A, Hep B, Yellow fever. All diseases you could encounter whilst 'out and about' as it were.

Hankins if you havn't had your BCG yet you will proberbly have 2 more needles. 1 to see if you need it(goes in your forearm) and if you do (need it) the actual BCG itself.

Just to let you know my arm still hurts now, after 2 weeks

Some of the lads got BCG's and were still complaining about sore arms weeks after, i think the main ones were the Hep A+B and tetanus though
