medical question: head pain

Post by jarhead »

ok basicaly did a intense skipping workout outside(lovely sun)
and then did 30 press-ups per 1 :30 skipping.

after a few of these my back of my head on the 2 side areas became "VERY!" painful, even as i type this topic it stil feels like a super hangover. atm it just them 2 back sides of my head any suggestions?? or any one else get this?

or is it just me being pathectic, and its only " pain" so get used to it?

Heatstroke / Dehydration would be my two initial thoughts.

Definately don't train through it. Stop rest, refuel and come back later.

Exercise Headaches????

Then again, training in the sun, and getting sunstroke is probably more the reason!!

Wear a hat and drink plenty!!

sounds like tension headache / heatstroke to me, eitherway if you start getting pain that doesnt give off, then dont push yourself - no point injuring yourself over a couple more minutes of exercise, keep your water intake high.. thats the main thing.

flo wrote:SPELLING BOYS - COME ON GET A GRIP

Especially you orrifice types, your meant to lead by example, and if you cant spell then how the hell are you going to be able to write reports.
Guys and girls i must admit i thought Flo might have been a bit up front then and been in the wrong but having read some of them previous posts i have have realised i talk crap!!!! Flo is right! spelling is crap and punctuation is poor nowadays so please think and maybes do a "spelling and grammer check in Microsoft WORD" if you ain't to sure nobody needs to know?? i do it all the time as my spelling is as poor as they come and it doesn't cost anything to copy and paste and check in WORD does it??

Anyway half the folk on here will just think i'm nobody (and which i am) but having lost a certain LEGEND on MFAT you people must think!!

"IF YOU AIN'T SHOW NO RESPECT TO THE LEGENDS!!, OR CURRENTLY SERVING SERVICEMEN OR WOMEN THEN YOU ARE NOT WELCOME ON HERE!!"

Sorry MODS but that was me letting off some steam!!, about the fact that you know who will no longer be posting on here!!

Shame but one day (touch wood) you might hear another classic tale of the life of ARTIST!!

i knew Flo would come up on the topic of spelling ,it is pretty bad Jarhead lol

Anyway, i get this like, once every 5 months except mines a little different, feels like apart of my brain has got up and just jumped into the side of my skull. Its excruciating, and happens randomly, i dont have to be excercising either.

Anybody else get that one??

Yeah Exertion headaches are rubbish....... i was ont the Leg Press pushing out the max (usual 15 reps but i was having a bad gym day and on the second set and the 7-8th push my head (central so could not feel it plus no control) throbbed and i had to drop the weights.

2 minutes later i felt weak after 3 mins i felt hungry after 4 minutes i had to sit down and wanted to throw up..... i was off the gym for 6 weeks so word of warning take it easy
