Just do what the AFCO advise you to do.

Fun stuff like speedmarching will be introduced to you once your firmly in place at CTCRM doing the Commando course.

May I suggest that you have a good read of the Stickys on this forum. They will tell you all you need to know.

Speed marching doesn't really seem worth it, training is progressive and you'll soon be able to speed march with the best of them. Although learning your navigation will help, you could get used to carrying heavy loads too and do practice your navigation at the same time. I found navigation really hard in training and i'm now getting my head round it before I rejoin in a few weeks. I've also been getting used to heavy load carrying, as I was a bit beef at that. But thats not to say you should do it, it's just something that i enjoy and find helpful. Do what you think your body is capable of, and just don't be silly and start running with a burgan up hills :)
