Very well done, those scores are excellent. I take it you had it ok on bottomfield, ie not near death.

Thanks guys. Don't get me wrong, bottom field was amazingly hard! :o We had 3 guys drop out on bottom field. It was made even harder by the fact that it was so hot! Especially with your rugby top and a combat jacket. I wouldn't say there was anything that stuck out as being the hardest, but day two as a whole is just about sheer determination. In gym test 2 there was a stance that included forward rolls and that mess' you up and also having to 'mark time' (running on the spot) through both bottom field and gym test 2. I was so suprised to see 11 people drop out of the 3 mile run!! That was pretty easy, you just keep up with the PTI and your fine.
The best bit?...warming down when you have finished the last sprints after gym test 2. I honestly thought they would never stop.

alee9, I take it you enjoyed the course? :) On our course, I think I speak for everyone that bottomfield was the hardest thing ever I was depleted because I didn't drink enough water and the cpl had a go at me for having such a small morning scran  . I have to agree those sprints at the end I thought they were never going to end having a liar of a PTI saying "only a couple more," we would bang out 2 and then 1 and then 3 and then 2 and then 2 and then 3 etc. He said we were near the end about a third of the way through, messing with our head like. lol. So how many passed altogether?? 8)

LOL, sounds like on my PRMc, we had a nice PTI then! lol. He said 'if you guys go balls out on these sprints, we'll only do a couple'. We only ended up doing about 5!

Thing is felias on ours, in the gym there were a few guys not sprinting fast enough or giving enough effort on the sprints and thats why we did extra. Also on the squats loads of guys got bollocked for not doing them correctly and that also gave us extra. Guess we were unlucky eh? also on bottom field we were doing extra sets and reps because some lads wernt doing the correct amount. shit really, but your only as strong as your weakest man

Agreed, I just put 100% in and hoped for the best and enjoyed it. The atmosphere on the train at the end of the course was really good everyone pretty much was dead(all aspects) happy. I felt our course was a piss take having a bit of fun with us before leave.

Just been into the AFCO this morning and the Chief PO said he is going to bid for a place. Not sure when it would be but he said before my PRMC that i would be lookinf at end of June. I would get my 3 weeks foundation out of the way and then get 3 weeks paid leave for summer! happy days!
About the sprints...i think everyone will endure the same thing no matter what. Even if the PTI '100% and you'r finished', be prepared to do alot more. And don't try and work out if he is counting down because if he sais '3 more...2 more 1 more..' expect to carry on going! Also 'felius' i only had a bowl of Shredies for scram because i had bacon eggs and beans on day one and was sick on the 3 miler! The PTI was laughing but he said it was good because i didn't give up! :D But i didn't get told off for not having enough! I also got dehidrated on bottom field because it was sooo hot! :o Also wearing a rugby top and a combat jacket!! Top tip... make sure you know which is your bottle when you put it down and then go and collect it, because mine was half full and then i ended up ggetting one that was empty! so place it upside down or something!
