PRMC pass

Post by speedfreak »

Hey, I was just on the 2nd to the 5th of May PRMC. It was a very strong course with 38 out of 44 passing. (Only two wrapped on bottom field which was VERY surprising as this was my second prmc and my last prmc about 10 people wrapped on bottom field)

58 pressups
65 situps
5 pullups
10.9 bleep test

4:03 assult course

The three mile run was done as a troop the whole way round and the heat took me by surprise because ive been training at night over the winter so when we did it at 9:30am in completly blue skys i was sweating big time! So i would recommend that you all train at various times of the day just so you dont get used to doing it at a certain time of the day etc.

I have to phone the AFCO monday, Ive seen a few on this forum going down for the next one in a few days so best of luck guys, dont wrap and you'll get a pass.

well done, good scores there, what would you say is the hardest part of PRMC, lots of people say bottomfield and others say gym test 2, just because they are totally fragged???

Hey, i enjoyed gym test 2. I thought the games were pretty fun, just wish i didnt have the one with the rolly pollys last  The sprints at the end wernt so bad either as the squat jumps you had to inbetween were worse

yeah gym test 2 is nowhere near as hard as bottom field, Gym test two is only hard because its the last thing you do so your nackered from the other stuff before you even start. Gym test 2 is actually a laugh, its a bit of a hangout but nothing too serious (and this is comming from somebody who doesn't have great CV)

Bottom field is nails, running up the hill to the cone and back is pure hell - The assult course is a hangout aswell because your dead from the warmup lol. I mean i found it really hard because im better at upper body stuff than running type things, which is something i'll need to address before i get back to CTC. If anybody is reading this who is on a PRMC soon i would just say dont be too concerned about the fitness side of it because they want to see your determination more than anything else. Everyone can get a good time on the assult course when they have a fresh pair of legs but who can push themselves once they have absolutley no energy in their legs over all the obsticals ?? Thats what they want to see.

Anyway im rambling on a bit here, I'll stop now... good luck to everyone going on a PRMC soon.

We had a strong course with none wrapping on Bottomfield(I thnk). Gym test 2 was fun for me too but VERY hard work. I was not tired just in a lot of well deserved pain. :)

We had one wrap on bottom field. I think by the time you get to bottom filed the ones that cant cope wrapped on the 3 miler or gym test 1.
