PRMC 14th May 2006

Post by james_m »

Well, after being a member of the forums and in the application process for about 3 years I have finally got my PRMC date - 14th May 06.

Anyone else fancy coming on holiday with me?

Cheers

Yo James congrats mate!

you got a good PJFT score so to be honest it shouldnt be a problem for you. just remember you've only got like a month to prepare...

But again good luck and all the best!

I had 2 weeks t sharpen up from just jogging mostly. If you train everyother day you will make it, just make sure you incorporate sprints into your training, something I did 2 weeks before my PRMC. All I can say is keep smiling and have a PMA, something I acquired in day 2 of the course :). I found that you will bond with the blokes on the course the ones who pass anyway.

Passed PJFT about a month ago, have yet to be given a PRMC date but will ask for this one if people on MFAT are going :) Would be nice to have some company. I'm currently trying to prepare my sprints and long distance, middle distance (if there is such a thing :P, like 2 - 3 miles) I'm pretty good at, the rest really needs work.

My PJFT score was 9:18 I was so like "Damn that machine," The machine max speed was 16 and it took like 30 seconds to actually get the speed to maximum as the lady doing it with me was not upping the speed quick enough. Still, blaming the machine. Damn that slow machine.

I had the exact same problem Felias. But im smart so i put the machine on manual and started it up myself so the speed went up alot faster :) Gutted i couldn't sprint to the end though.
