First of all I would like to say hello to everybody, A great resource of information here.
I am hoping to join the RAF as an Ariel Erector. I have already been to the initial presentation at my local AFCO in Chatham. I have my aptitude test on the 9th May.
Q ) I was wondering if anybody new what kind of results were required for the test and which sections of the test they match up to the Aerial Erector trade ?
Many Thanks
Chris Gray

At the appropriate time the AFCO will give you a booklet called "The Next Step". In this document you will find example questions that you will get in your AST (Airmans Selection Test). Basically, these questions are structured in the same way as the ones you will get on test day.
The AST is designed to guage your natural abilities and, as such, suitability for specific trades. My advice is to keep practicing with the examples in the booklet. Scores/requirements for individual trades can change at a moments notice and are dependent on the requirements of the service. If the RAF only want a few Aerial Erectors then the standards may rise but if the trade becomes priority then the required standards MAY be lowered.
